I love my bed!! Those still camping - believe me you'll love your bed the first night back in it. Poor you Tom - quite relieved we have all been saved from your pianist skills.

Head and back OK. Hand not so good.

When we got back to Bahrain I went and got my back and hand checked out. Thankfully my back is fine, just soft tissue damage that needs a bit of physio. Unfortunately I did have a fracture in my hand in the metacarpal of my little finger (Cate, see picture). The surgeon said though, as it was two weeks old and tissue had grown back between the break he can't do anything (short of chiseling it out). He did though say that it should sort it self out. However I cannot now play the piano. This isn't a major blow as I wasn't able to play it before. Thanks for looking after me when, clumsy oaf that I am, I decided to jump backwards out of the truck. ;)

Hi everyone,

Sorry I am only just getting my act together. I've not figured out yet the best way for us to share, upload/download photos but I'm working on it. I thought that it would be a good idea to set up a blog so that we could share memories and a couple of pictures. I've edited the rafting video and uploaded it to youtube (sorry Gemma I could not figure out which raft you were on but you do appear in the chilled bit). You'll find the link to the vids on the right hand nav bar.

If your already home you can upload some photos and Kafaru favorite moments. If you are still safari-ing through Africa (I'm very envious) let us know what you're up to and how you are getting on. Say hi to the Pluto lot for us!
